Here an electric 3D, 2 door cast iron effect stove has been fitted in front of a fireplace which has been sealed up. See the flame effect and how it works here. The realistic flame effect is produced by a fine mist of water, very clever. the customers are thrilled with it.
If your bricks are not in good condition within the fireplace and you don't want them rendered, why not paint them black like we have done in this installation. Here we have installed a Hunter Herald 4 with large honed slate hearth.
We are often asked to open up small Victorian fireplaces to reveal the original fireplace opening and install a more efficient form of heating. Here we have installed a cast iron stove and solid oak beam with a slate tiled hearth.
Here we have opened up another fireplace and rendered the inside and plastered the chimney breast to leave a clean smooth finish. The Parkray 7 wood burner is framed nicely with the solid oak beam and slate hearth we also installed. It's now all ready for the client's painter and carpet fitter to finish off their new stylised lounge.
Most fireplaces have a standard 16"- 24" opening, usually tapering towards the back. The Stove House can open up your fireplace and make good the hole and install a wood burner. Below you can see the stages we go through to achieve this and it usually only takes 2-3 days. So what are you waiting for? Call us today to make an appointment for a survey and be warm this Winter.
