Here The Stove House opened up a disused fireplace and installed a Dik Geurts Aste 5 Low woodburning stove with a honed black slate hearth. With a heat output of 4.9 kW, it can easily heat a large room, but its low emissions qualify it for DEFRA approval in smokeless zones which means no additional air supply was required to the room.

This Dik Geurts Ivar 5 Low fits beautifully into this amazing original wooden surround. The flue was offset within the fireplace and we overcame this by using a couple of bends to allow the stove to stay central.

The Dik Geurts Ivar 5 wood burner installation has been beautifully framed by the solid oak fireplace surround and the large clean crisp slate hearth finishes off this perfect stove installation.
